Eid Mubarak, everyone.
Today Eid is here - the day all devoted muslims have been waiting for. It has been so interesting to be in Dhaka in the days leading up to Eid, to see for myself what the effect of the Ramadan and Eid has on the society and people here.
Tomorrow it is time to go home - I will certainly miss the wonderful people here, and the many dedicated scholars and practitioners I have met here. Lots of good connections to work with from home, and some interesting research prospects with the YPSA people.
See you next time, Bangladesh.
Oh, and what I will not miss: The traffic in both Dhaka and Chittagong. Travelling truly is a challenge, both inside and outside the boundaries of the cities. May the force of urban planning be with us all…!
