Chapter for book on Networked Learning
A new book on Networked Learning is on its way, based on contributions to the Networked Learning Conference in Aalborg in May last year. Title of the book is “Exploring the Theory, Pedagogy and Practice of Networked Learning”, eds. Dirckinck-Holmfeld, Jones & Hodgson. The book will be out on Springer later this year.
Thanks to the hard work of good colleagues, a co-authored chapter called Differences in Understandings of Networked Learning Theory - Connectivity or Collaboration has just been submitted in its final version (authors: Ryberg, Buus & Georgsen).
Web 2.0 and Problem Based Learning in Enterprise Architecture Training – Developing a Learning Methodology
Thomas Ryberg, Lillian Buus and I held a symposium/workshop at the Networked Learning Conference, where we presented results from the EAtrain-project. Furthermore, we had a CoED-workshop with app. 25 participants. The interactive form of the symposium was very popular with the participants, and hopefully many are now busy using the CoED-tool in design work (find the tool here).
Networked Learning Conference 2010 - a really great event with many interesting activities and people present.
Keynotes by Etienne Wenger and Yrjö Engeström were arranged as a fish bowl-conversation, which gave a very interactive and dynamic session. Later I attended a symposium arranged by people from the Open University in UK. In a very reflective and engaging way they presented ongoing innovation projects within the OU, organisational development projects and staff development workshops. Very inspiring session.
Also colleagues from eLearning Lab gave interesting presentations - Helle Wentzer talked about research in the Mopem project; and work by Lone Dirckinck-Holmfeld, Ulla Konnerup, Tom Nyvang and Ann Bygholm was presented in three different talks.
Visit the conference website, which is still updated with ressources from the conference - video from the opening session is now available on line.
