Back from the field
Today I went to the Wednesday lunch seminar in the HCCI-doctoral programme to hear about Ph.D.-scholar Aparna Purushothaman’s field work in an Indian university. Aparna’s research is on women’s empowerment through ICT, and she has carried out observation studies, interviews and a number of workshops with local students.
Her presentation was a very nice run through of what she had been doing during her stay in India, and now we are all looking forward to hearing more as she works her way through the analysis phase of the research project.
