ICT 4 Development
Some time ago, we received a donation of used computers in eLearning Lab, and we are currently trying to work out how to put them to good use in a country where they are needed. For that purpose, I participated in a meeting arranged by the students’ section of Engineers without Borders in Aalborg. I met with a really nice group of people, and ideas and experiences were exchanged. Vice chairman of the students’ section, Nicola Marchetti, is designated project leader for this project.
In May, we are planning to meet with guests from Bangladesh to share ideas and maybe come up with a suitable project plan.
Book of the week is Dewey’s How we think from 1910. The e Learning Lab reading circle is discussing Dewey as part two of our “reading the classics”-initiative (in the autumn we were reading Vygotsky).
